The Forum continued its mission of connecting technology companies with high added value, co-creating development discussions and strengthening the role of technology as a key pillar of Slovenia's future development. Throughout the year, we have worked on several levels — from expanding our membership and organizing events to systematically presenting our members' stories and actively engaging in discussions about the country's legislation and development model.
1. New members and community building
In 2025, the Slovenian Technology Forum will be held additionally Strengthened with new members, which come from the ranks of high-tech, innovative and internationally oriented companies. The expansion of the membership confirms the role of the Forum as a relevant platform for companies that create high added value and make a significant contribution to the development of the Slovenian technological ecosystem.
With the inclusion of new members, the diversity of knowledge, experiences and perspectives within the community has been strengthened, allowing the Forum to have an even better dialogue and to form content-based views on key development issues.

2. Legislation and public views
In 2025, the Slovenian Technology Forum actively participated in public discussions on legislation and development policies affecting the technology and business sectors. He paid particular attention to the proposed tax changes, particularly in the Taxation of natural persons and the system of standardised expenditure.
Through its views and comments, the Forum drew attention to the possible negative consequences of reckless legislative interventions and defended a stable, predictable and development-oriented environment that promotes innovation, entrepreneurship and long-term competitiveness of the Slovenian economy. At the same time, he insisted on the need for a clear development model of the country and more effective digitalization and debureaucratization.

We stressed that higher productivity does not mean more work, but smarter work, supported by knowledge, technology and a stimulating environment. Innovation is understood as a broader mentality that must be systematically promoted in the economy, the public sector and education. At the same time, we pointed out the need for concrete and immediate systemic changes — from a more stable tax environment to less bureaucracy and more effective development incentives — if Slovenia wants to catch up and overtake the most advanced European countries.
3. Stories from our members
In 2025, the Slovenian Technology Forum established structured, modern and uniform presentation of all its memberson the forum website and on the LinkedIn platform. The aim of this initiative is to raise the profile of high value-added companies that successfully operate in global markets and to strengthen their public and professional image.
Through thoughtfully designed contentsThe forum presents its members as key players in the Slovenian technological ecosystem, showcases their knowledge, innovations and ambitions, and at the same time builds a common identity of the forum. The project contributes to greater visibility of the members, a clearer positioning of the forum and a better understanding of the importance of a connected, strong technological sector for the future development of Slovenia.
4. Events and collaborations
An important part of the activities of the Slovenian Technology Forum in 2025 were events, conferences and professional meetings, aimed at connecting the economy, the profession, politics and the general public.
Among the main events of the year was the consultation “Development challenges of Slovenia — Slovenia 2040”, where representatives of politics, the economy and the professional public met in Cankar's home. The discussion focused on the search for a long-term development vision of the country, focusing on the development model, the tax environment, digitalization and the development of the personnel of the future.
The Forum also held an expert meeting on Geopolitical Shifts and Cybersecuritywhere participants discussed the impact of global change on the security and technology environment and the need to strengthen the resilience of digital systems.
The STF participated in the support DragonHack, a traditional hackathon for young creators, contributing to connecting the industry with young talent and fostering innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
At the Slovenian Technology Forum with pleasure and responsibility We support young talents, we are so for DevOps Days Ljubljana 2025 allows 40 students to attend for free, because we believe that contact with top professionals is the key to the development of future generations.
Our Member DevRev is in collaboration with Club AdaOrganized the first local event gr.ai.ce. By attending the event, we supported the promotion of knowledge, participation and inclusion of women in STEM fields.
At the end of the year, the forum also participated in Festival Evolution, which marked twenty years of technological breakthroughs and opened a debate on the social, economic and value aspects of technological progress.
The year 2025 showed that the Slovenian Technology Forum is not just an association of companies, but an active interlocutor in shaping the future of the Slovenian technological and economic space. By connecting members, organizing content-driven events, systematically presenting success stories and clear views on legislation, the forum has solidified its role as an important voice of the technology community.
In the future, the STF will continue building on cooperation, knowledge and a common vision,with a clear awareness that technology companies remain one of the key drivers of Slovenia's development.
